Acclaimed banking industry expert, experienced in managing complex IT projects. Organizer and participant in many national activities to digitize business processes implemented in cooperation with the banking sector and public administration. From 1990 to 2010, he worked at Pomorski Bank Kredytowy in Szczecin and, after the merger, at Bank Pekao – he supervised the IT area in these institutions. From 2010 to 2016, he was Vice President of PKO Bank Polski, responsible for the IT and operations field. He was responsible for building and implementing the IKO mobile payment system, on which the BLIK mobile payment system was created. Former Chairman of the Electronic Banking Council of the Polish Bank Association and member of the Board of Directors of Visa Europe. For many years he was a member of the Payment System Council operating at the National Bank of Poland, representing Pekao and PKO Bank Polski in the past, and currently KIR. Graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
